Angles and their Measure

Angles can be measured in Degrees ($^\circ$) or Radians (rad).

• A full circle is $360^\circ$ or $2\pi$ radians.
• $\pi \text{ rad} = 180^\circ$

Conversions

• Degrees to Radians: Multiply by $\frac{\pi}{180}$.
• Radians to Degrees: Multiply by $\frac{180}{\pi}$.

Coterminal Angles

Angles are coterminal if they share the same terminal side. They differ by multiples of $360^\circ$ (or $2\pi$).
