Labor Standards: Night Shift Differential
Example
Problem:
A heavy equipment operator works a night shift on a construction site from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM the next day (10 hours total work). His regular daily wage is PHP 800 (for 8 hours). Calculate his total gross pay for that shift, including the night shift differential (NSD) for work performed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, and regular overtime.
